On a daily basis you will cycle through a variety of flat landscapes through charming villages and historic cities while cruising along the impressive waterways of Zeeland, the River Schelde and the picturesque Vecht and Lek Rivers.

The tour is perfect for families who want to cycle together and enjoy barge life or, for that matter, anyone wanting to enjoy a delightful week of cycling to a long list of historic destinations.

During the course of the 8 day, 7 night tour you will visit the world famous cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges – each in their own right are destinations of significance with a long list of sights and attractions to discover.

Along the way you will cycle through the beautiful Dutch landscape of Zeeland, will visit a real Dutch cheese farm and 19 Dutch windmills in Kinderdijk and will discover the western Flanders region of Belgium.

The province of Zeeland is essentially one big river delta of the Rhine, Meuse and Scheldt Rivers famous for its fantastic beaches, water sport activities and Delta works, while the Flanders region of Belgium boasts a number of world famous medieval towns and has a well-deserved reputation for superb food and drink. As well as cycling through many picturesque villages each day, you will:

MS Gandalf

On this very beloved tour sails the small and comfortable passenger barge MS GANDALF for max. 22 guests. On board of this cosy ship are a total of 10 cabins (ca. 8 M²) with shower + toilet, all with 2 low beds and central heating; All cabins windows can be opened. The salon is a large room for common use and is your restaurant area as well. On the two sun decks of the approx. 45 meter long ship are sitting areas with tables + chairs and storage room for the bikes.

Equipped with a double-roof of solar panels, it runs for a great part on green energy! This is not only environment- friendly, but also comfortable for guests: since the ship hardly needs to use a generator to produce electricity, the nights are still and quiet on board. The popular ship sails under Dutch flag and has been sailing in Holland, and Belgium for many years. Skipper Hans Petrus and his experienced crew offer you an exceptional vacation aboard!

MS Fluvius

The comfortable river cruiser MS Fluvius has been a popular choice for guests for a number of years now on the Amsterdam to Bruges cycle tour. On board this cozy ship, which caters for a maximum of 44 guests, are a total of 18 twin and 4 double bed cabins.

The lower deck has 14 twin cabins (approx. 10 M² = 108 sq.) and one smaller twin cabin (approx. 9 M² = 97 sq.) and on the upper deck there are 3 twin cabins (approx. 10 M² = 108 sq.). In winter 2017-2018, 4 additional upper deck double cabins (approx. 12 M² = 129 sq.) with a large panoramic window (ceiling to floor) that can be opened will be created. All twin cabins have 2 low separate single beds, the 4 new cabins have a 140×200 cm double bed. All cabins have an air-conditioning unit that is individually adjustable, a ventilation system and a window (windows in twin cabins are fixed) and en-suite bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer.

The salon with bar is a large room for common use and has a semi-separate restaurant area. On the large sun deck of the 70 meter-long ship are sitting places (tables and chairs) and storage room for the bikes. The ship sails under the Dutch flag and management.
