Each day you will cycle through a variety of flat landscapes, through charming villages and historic cities while cruising along the impressive waterways of Zeeland, the River Schelde and the picturesque Vecht and Lek Rivers.

The tour is perfect for families who want to cycle together and enjoy barge life or, for that matter, anyone wanting to enjoy a delightful week of cycling to a long list of historic destinations.

You will visit the world famous cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges – each in their own right are destinations of significance with a long list of sights and attractions to discover.

You will cycle through the province of Zeeland - essentially one big river delta of the Rhine, Meuse and Scheldt Rivers - famous for its fantastic beaches, water sport activities and Delta works and through the Flanders region of Belgium which boasts a number of world famous medieval towns and has a well-deserved reputation for superb food and drink.

Attractions along the way include many charming villages, a visit to a real Dutch cheese farm, the 19 famous Dutch windmills of Kinderdijk and the world famous cities of Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges in the western Flanders region of Belgium. As well as being able to discover many picturesque villages each day – both on your bicycle and on foot – you will:

MS Fluvius

The comfortable river cruiser MS Fluvius has been a popular choice for guests for a number of years now on the Amsterdam to Bruges cycle tour. On board this cozy ship, which caters for a maximum of 44 guests, are a total of 18 twin and 4 double bed cabins.

The lower deck has 14 twin cabins (approx. 10 M² = 108 sq.) and one smaller twin cabin (approx. 9 M² = 97 sq.) and on the upper deck there are 3 twin cabins (approx. 10 M² = 108 sq.). In winter 2017-2018, 4 additional upper deck double cabins (approx. 12 M² = 129 sq.) with a large panoramic window (ceiling to floor) that can be opened will be created. All twin cabins have 2 low separate single beds, the 4 new cabins have a 140×200 cm double bed. All cabins have an air-conditioning unit that is individually adjustable, a ventilation system and a window (windows in twin cabins are fixed) and en-suite bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer.

The salon with bar is a large room for common use and has a semi-separate restaurant area. On the large sun deck of the 70 meter-long ship are sitting places (tables and chairs) and storage room for the bikes. The ship sails under the Dutch flag and management.
