“Old” versus “new” land - the LF20 takes you right across Holland from the old mainland to the reclaimed land of the Flevo Polder and back again.

Once sea bottom, now thriving agricultural land - without the high-tech engineering of dykes, canals and drainage works there would be no Flevo Polder. The landscape is man-made, structured and geometrical, yet there are areas of such wild nature that it’s hard to imagine it hasn’t been here for centuries. From the medieval Muiderslot Castle to the Groninger Museum of modern art, from National Park Oostvaardersplassen and the World Heritage Site of Schokland to the traditional fishing villages of Urk and Lemmer - the LF20 gives you a taste of Holland’s rich culture, history and natural beauty.
