The Dutch use their bicycles for almost anything: commuting to work, getting their daily shopping, they even ‘walk’ the dog by bike.

In Holland there are no rules that say you can’t take your dog with you on your cycle ride. As long as you don't hinder other traffic or endanger road safety, the options are numerous. Some dogs like to trot behind their owner. Other dogs enjoy the ride from a more luxurious vantage point. It's cute, it's fun, it's the Dutch way of doing things.
