You can see the seawall from afar as a straight line on the horizon. Stately shelters and tiny workers' houses give a glimpse into the near past. Stiff folk but you can rely on it. Of course we also visit Pieterburen and the seals, but it is even better to see them in real life on the boat, on the way to fantastic Schiermonnikoog. First, the enormous diversity of birds and nature in the Lauwersmeer and the Wadden Sea.
